Chemical Peels

What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical peel works by causing a chemical burn and removing the top layers of skin, which in turn allows new skin to generate.

Chemical peels can range from very superficial to deep, the severity of your peel will depend on the chemical agents used, and the concentration.

After a chemical peel, the lower layers of the skin will respond by renewing skin and by increasing the production of collagen, resulting in your clients' skin looking more youthful and smoother. The efficacy of a chemical peel depends on a number of factors, from the client's skin condition, and their daily routine.

It is advisable that before having this treatment, you stop using any retinol 72 hours before. This treatment can also not be done on a recently lasered or waxed client. If you have been lasered or waxed, please leave at least 7 - 10 days before your peel.

We have a selection of peels on offer depending on your skin concerns. Prices and treatment protocols do vary, so a consultation will be needed to ascertain which peel would best suit your needs.
